I had trouble posting positive feedback for a member that I made a trade with. Is it because of it being a trade or that he is not a gold member? it went well and I would like to aknowledge it.

Nope, neither of those should be the cause.

Was it from the Want to Buy thread? If so, that's likely the reason as they dont work like sales or trade threads do.
