  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Posting knife makers info ...

I see quite a few threads on folks asking for info on makers. I have my Knives 2015 book which lists makers info. Is it acceptable to post an email address or phone number in a thread that is in the book?

If it is acceptable, I would do what I can to hide/mask the info from bot scanners.

EX: your momma AT yahoo DOT com (take out spaces)
555-6789 (subtract 1 from each number)

If they take PMs, can I PM the info?

Part of me wants to help drum up business or maybe fix a warranty issue, but I don't want to put personal out there even though it is in the book.

I don't see many folks posting this info so I tend to think it is a no-no.

What is acceptable?

If they have a paid knifemaker's subscription, sure. If they don't, no free advertising for them.
