Gentlemen,

Would some one please explain to me why I can not post a new thread in the knifemaker sales forum. I am signed up as a Gold member. I am confused.

Only people with a Knifemaker membership can advertise in that forum. You can upgrade your membership....
 
Thanks for the reply. I guess I misunderstood when I read about the Gold membership. So, I have to have Gold membership and knifemaker membership? Your help is appreciated.

I should have noticed that was your first post and welcomed you -- welcome to Bladeforums! :)

What you need is a KnifeMaker membership -- you'll have all the privileges of a Gold Member plus you'll be able to advertise in the KnifeMaker forum, and it'll say "KnifeMaker" on your posts instead of "Gold Member." The cost is the same, so I think Spark will be able to change your member category as soon as he finds time to check this forum and sees this thread.

I will change your membership to a knifemaker tomorrow. An additional fee is not required.
