Posting not working sometimes?

Hey guys!
I'm having issues posting, but not all the time... If I create a short reply to someone's post then that's fine, if I try to create a longer one then the request times out.

I'm a web-developer, so I tried to trouble-shoot this in the usual way: forced refresh, browser restart, different browser, restart computer... Nothing so far has made a difference.

I've attached the text that I'm trying to post, there's nothing in there that should make the system blow up.

Any help is appreciated!

I also tried changing my settings to use a different editor, and I tried changing the forum skin as well... No change after that either. It's weird that post short responses seems totally fine.

We went through an extended period of hacker attacks that nearly shut down the forums altogether. Spark fought through them and the situation improved, but we have had recurring, occasional problems like what you describe.

At one point, some people were able to post longer texts by making a short post and then editing in the rest.

Thanks for the response!

Right now the only way I'm able to make posts longer than about 3-4 sentences is by editing a smaller post in stages. It seems really odd that a post would get bounced because of size... I assume my account has no spam flags or anything set on it?
