So I have a question about a possible old/ancient axe blade someone found in my hometown. But I can't figure out how to post a photo of it here for an identification. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

upload the pic to a site like Photobucket and input the IMG url into the "picture icon" in the upper border of the reply window

No, you don't need the picture icon.

Copy the IMG url and paste it directly into your post .

well every time I do it that way, the URL is there as a clickable link - not as a pic.....so.......I put the IMG url in the pic icon drop down window and then it works.

Works for me. We may be using sufficiently different systems for it to fail you.
