Can anyone tell me how to post photos in Blade Forum??? I cant seem to get any photos transfered to a new thread.
Thanks!

The way I do it is:

# 1.) Find a site to host my pictures

I use Photobucket. So I upload the image from my computer to the site.

# 2.)Get the direct link of the image

# 3.) add
to the begining and end of the link.

EX.) "
picture
"

(I had to add quotes so that the browser would not try and display that as an image)

Welcome to Bladeforums! The really cool way to post pix is to become a member -- then you can upload your pix directly from your own hard drive to the Bladeforums servers. Click on "Upgrade your forums experience, and help support this site" at the top of any page for membership details.

You can also post pix by using another host on the web. There are several tutorials floating around the forums; you might have a look at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=371650

It would be nice if Microsoft could come up with a way that would simplify moving pictures. I recently bought a digital camera, and managed to somehow load them in to 'My Pictures'. It did it all by itself. If only I could simply copy and paste without all these complications that a novice user gets baffled by, and then get turned off because of the technical complexity of it.

Using online services like photo bucket doesn't interest me either, as it means privacy issues.

Will Vista make it any easier?

Thanks Cougar. I'll take a look at that. I started a Photobucket for myself. That takes for ever to download photos. I agree with you Bufford. Microsoft ought to come up with a simplified way to drag and paste. My modem is dial up and everything just takes too long.
