posting photos

I post a lot of photos on auction sites, but I have not done so on a forum. I am sure that you guys have answered this question many times. I do not seem to be able to post directly from my computer. Do I have to open an account with someone like photobucket? What is a URL? Thanks.
 
Not sure if I can put it in writing but will give it a try
#1 go to ( Go Advanced ) reply
#2 go down and click on manage attachments
#3 click on browse which will get into your files
#4 find the photo you want and upload make sure file is not to large
then hopefully you can post your reply with the photo
 
You can't upload images unless you are a paid member I think. Rather, you have to reference them where they sit on 3rd party servers. So, yes, you need a PhotoBucket type account to upload your images to.
 
I went into advanced reply and did not see a manage attachments field offered. In the lower left corner I noticed that in the posting rules I cannot post attachments. So do I have to be a paid member? Thanks.

P.S. I have some neat stuff I would like to post a photo of.
