I would like to make a plea for members to post links to pics instead of the actual pics themselves. I get tired of waiting and waiting for some thread to load because there are just oodles of pics.

Isn't this supposed to be SOP for BF? I seem to recall this issue coming up quite awhile back.

We used to have significant bandwidth problems until we bought a dedicated T1 line for the server - now we use about 50% of that (which is part of the reason we went to a paying classifieds system, but that's another discussion).

Anyhow, we could do that, I plan on asking for opinions in the near future on a number of issues and that could certainly be one of them.

That's great but when you are using a modem connection, sometimes it takes quite awhile to load a thread like this:
http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum51/HTML/000874.html

It took about a minute to load it this morning but yesterday it seemed like forever. I have a 56K modem but my connection speed varies. Today it is at 26K.

You get a lot of threads with pics in them and it just sucks down your time. And then everytime you go back to that thread, all the pics have to load again. Once I've seen them once, I don't think I need to see them again. I would prefer to save a little time. If I want to see them again, a link would give me that option.
