Does anyone know if I can post pics on BF with only my phone? I don't have a computer, or much knowledge in using them. I always post from an I-phone 5C, but have yet to figure out how to post pics. I know, I'm a tech dork! Can anyone simplify this for me? Thanks in advance!
 
I have the Imgur App. When I post pictures from my Ipad, they are taken down with the explanation that an invalid link was used. So don't get your hopes elevated.
 
Imgur app is decent to use, I'll whip up a how-to with photos if I have time tonight
 
Ok, so I'm posting this from my phone (iPhone 6)

If you get the Imgur app, and make an account, then you use the upload button to select photos

When you click it you get the screen to select the way to upload your photos, use the 'camera roll' option

And when you get the screen to select from your photo library, select the photos you want, then click 'done'. When you get this screen, click upload.

When they are uploaded, you can access your photos by going to your account page

Then you click 'uploads'

And when you touch-and-hold you'll get this screen, click 'copy link' to get he image link

After you do that, go to Bladeforums in your browser and start a reply to your thread of choice, then click the 'insert image' button

You'll get this screen, switch to 'from url' and uncheck 'retrieve locally', then paste your image url and click 'ok'

You should then have your link surrounded by IMG tags in the text box, when you post your comment the link should display.

Ummm, again images have to go up before they go down or in.
Once I got trapped and the website loaded every photo I have on my ipad.
But I should have turned off sync and or auto upload.

Edit. Maybe some day BLADEForums will just have an ap that uses a local hard drive?

I don't have any airdrop ap on phone bcuz I'm using an ipad.
I copy the link in imgur but still either get a link in page or an empty box.
By choosing the globe- link- normal, but clicking that link does not get me to the imgur website either!
By choosing the insert photo icon, I get the empty box.

This is pretty frustrating.

Posting pics sucess! Using ipad photobucket ap.
Upload into album, select pic, select copy link, select image code tap to copy,
Select icon within BladeForums insert picture, paste.

You end up with the needed ingredient of have
 
Going thru it one more time from creating a photo right thru uploading to PHOTOBUCKET ! The wonder ap ....LOL and importing into the BF page PHOTO s

Another Dry run for me! Using the Ipad ap Google Photos.
This ap is very friendly. It can be used browser based or ap based,
So folks not owning an ipad could particate.
I like the compactness, convenience and the fact of having no need for a processor fan, it is a good "lap" device.
So her goes Google Photo try #1
I created a shared album, set the permissions and found a single option to copy link.
Now will this produce a pic on page or a link on page?
Using the insert photo icon that looks like a "picture" I'll paste it into the BF box coming up.....

I need to use this inside BF to post a pic to the thread on the page not just end up with a link.
But the steps need testing.
 
Try again..... Having the above link in my "clipboard" what to do? I MIGHT need to remove the s from https....?
The issue I think is while Photobucket opens a set of copy link types.... Google Photo may not be friendly to external websites.
Also with GooglePhotos you can upload original size/resolution but will be limited to 15gb.
If you chose smaller you are unlimited. My issue here might be that BF won't accept a big file size.
Also that this link might be for the Album in total and not just the pic in the album I'd like to post on page.

Going to just try the proven link again, using the insert pic icon here...

While editing this fail, I see 1 not 2 sets of [img] in the code. Where 2 sets works using photobucket's copy link option. (Select image code)
Google photo only gives "copy link"
There in means problems here coming out of GooglePhotos, ummm.

Try #4 instead of creating a link for a photo, which GooglePhotos assumes you want to creat a NEW SHARED ALBUM,
I tried to copy option in place of create link.

But, now after all this crap I sense that GooglePhotos will provide a link to a shared Album but can't interact with BF insertion routines.

For me at this point I'm sticking with PhotoBucket for in page pics.
While I think I can say that, using GooglePhotos one can create a link to a "set" of pics for a member to access off site.
I will create a four photo link and provide it for a look see.
 
GooglePhotos New Shared Album which should allow, a member to see 4 photos.

The last pic shows a Case version 1 Bulldog next to a XM-18 for comparison of the stag thickness.
I have a question on the forum in Traditional Folders as to whether such stag should be found on the given knife. My notion is unusual to find a fatty but, not impossible?

Perhaps this is a "lunchbox" knife. An employee made walk out in his lunch box....
