Hi Guys,

I see pictures ranging from thumbnails to almost full size. In most forums, the max size is 640X1200. Can someone help by giving me a range of sizes suitable for posting at this website? I've found no guidance expect for a post on photo editing, not the info I need right now.

Thanks a lot,

Dave

when I post photos, I just use the resize from imageshack.us. I just resize it for 800x600, and it fits nicely. I don't know how to attach pictures (hover over thumbnails to expand them) though

I have a simple program called "fast image resizer", it makes a copy of the files dropped into it in the selected size. I like 800x600.

I use photobucket too....cuzz it's sooooo easy....
Different forums/sites take different max sizes......somehow photobucket takes the guess work out of the way for ya and sends it on at the right size.

+1 on Photobucket, easy to use especially for newbies (like me).

But what about the thumbnails that expand? Can someone offer advice for this? I can't quite figure it out . . .

I hate photobucket. Too much bull hockey trying to get in and out.

Thats a better hosting service. No dang advertising the comments feature every time you try to look at a pic either. Photobucket is too big for its britches anymore. Every time I have issues with pics loading, they're at photobucket too. THey stink.

600 x 800 is a good size to post on the net, and Microsoft's little resizing app will do it automatically. You just select a group of pics, right click, and it'll resize them with the option of renaming the smaller pics, or saving over the originals.

I'll second 600x800 its a good size but not so big that is irritating .

Thanks for all the replies, guys

I was using photobucket, but for some reason all my pics vanished. I posted the same question in the gallery, and got an anwer from Bruce Bump. He said he uses photobucket and just selects the default option. As you know, he not only has knockout work, but really good pics as well. So, it's the good ole default option for me too from now on. Now, if I can just find those danged pics:)

Regards

Dave
