It seems like I read here some time back of a really neat and easy way to post pictures on the forum, but I don't remember how.

I have some before and after pics (on a floppy disc) of a restoration job done on an old Marbles Canoe model, and would love to show it off but don't know how.
thanks

I don't know how much you know, so I am gonna start from the beginning.

The on switch....

1. The images have to be on a server somewhere, that could include photopoint, or my site if you need and say please

2. You have to put the UBB or html code around the URL in a post. UBB is easier, both can be found linked at the reply page, there is a link on the side.

E-mail me if I can help further.

Marion,

I do not know how about you but I was not able to post pictures from my Photopoint page lately. The BF software always changed the ling and the picture did not show. I could only post link to the picture but not the picture itself.

Photo point! Thats the word I was looking for!

MDP--thanks for the offer of you site. I may hollar at you later, but I think I will tinker with photo point first and see what happens.

Thanks knzn, but it's just a scan, I could do a lot better if I had a Digital Camera. That's my problem, spend money I don't have on knives or a Digital camera (so I can take pictures of knives) So far knives are winning

PhilL, are you saying that the sword is mightier than the pen? I seem to have the same philosophy, when it comes to monetary expenditures anyway.

Sweet knife, BTW. Thanx for sharing it.

knzn, you're in good hands with Blackdog, I probably wouldn't have my PhotoPoint Albums without his help.
Thanks again Al!
