Posting Pictures?

I know I'm probably continuing to beat this dead horse but just one question so I understand.

Is there a photo uploader on BF as there was before? or do we have to use an off site hosting site such as photobucket, imgur, etc.

Thanks.

Mark T.

Are you using a phone or pc? Either way you can hit the Upload a File button to add a picture to a post.

On the PC you can even cut and paste a picture into a thread and it'll auto create an attachment.

From my computer. On the old system the uploader just pulled it from my computer when I wanted add a photo.

Thanks for the info. I'll try your suggestion next time. I did try a "Drag & Drop" but didn't seem to work. Copy & paste should do it

Yeah, click 'upload a file' (next to the reply button, and it'll give you a choice of what to attach, haven't had any issues doing it like that so far.

Every picture I try to load it says file to big on a single photo.never had an issue before from photobucket to BF.I am pretty frustrated.

Through trial and error, I believe the picture file must be under 1000 KB.

The size limit is smaller than most full-resolution smartphone pictures, but there are some ways to resize your photos that have been sharing in Tech Support in other threads you can find.

I'm on mac/firefox. I can't find "Upload a File button" that is "next to reply button." Before update I'd simply use BB code through Flickr. Today I was advised to use imgur; I just saw two of the most recent sell posts where a gold member with 29+ positive feedback selling multiple knives in the $300 price range is reverting to posting friggin imgur links, when we all know we want that big ol' sexy pic up on the thread screen (especially for buying and selling). Obviously, just going over to imgur won't fix my IT stupidity. I'm seeing these links all over BF now, along with many others settling for tiny thumbnails as their best strategy for posting a pic.

I know Spark must be goin 24/7 right about now, so I don't expect that "detailed walkthrough" from him anytime soon, but
SOMEBODY ELSE: PLEASE HELP US ALL!

Imgur is pretty simple:

1. Upload image to imgur
2. Mouse over your uploaded image.
3. Click on the dropdown at the top right of your image and select "Get Share Links"
4. Copy BB Code share links.
5. Paste them on the site so that

appears as

You have to be a paying member to use the Upload a File. If you were, here's firefox on mac. The "Upload a File" button is right there:

But have you tried using flickr just like before? No need to switch to imgur if you already have flickr. Cutting and pasting the BBCode Flickr link works great.

Wow - I can't thank Spark enough for the quick response. Thank you.

Thurin - yes, I tried copy/paste BB code like I always did before, but it didn't work so perhaps it was while things were still being tweaked, or--even more likely--I'm just an idiot. Thank you for the paid member and 'Upload a File' button clarification, I suspected that might have been the issue with me not seeing it.

JMT is without a doubt top 3 in entire country, and arguably an undeniable no. 1.

Well it worked here however, tried to post the same photo on the Buck forum and got the message that it was formatted too large to post.
Back to the drawing board.

With imgur copying and pasting the image worked for me but not inserting with the image button and uploading it said the same image was too big  (also I feel like the confused smiley is a bit dramatic)
