from my understanding if you paid by paypal spark has to do it. but if you do it by credit card then it does it self.

Your membership hasn't gone through yet. You can tell when it has by clicking on your user name to call up your profile. When you've been upgrade, you will see Private Messages authorized.

Also, you can check http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/profile.php?do=editusergroups and when you see Gold membership as a choice, click on that to update your color and title.

Also, please be aware that the site has been suffering frequent hacker attacks lately that have been taking up a lot of Spark's time, so International transactions (which have to be entered manually) are taking longer than usual.

Mine went through pretty fast yesterday.

Click Settings (upper right) then under My Account click on Permission Groups.

Select your user group then click the Update Display Group button.

Unless as Esav says - your account has not been activated yet.
