Posting URLs

I am a new member. I'm afraid I made an error. In a discussion of haiku about blades I posted a URL to my blog of blade haiku. The discussion seemed to stop. Was I cut off because this is frowned upon or am I just paranoid. It was my first post.

It's always a good idea when referencing a thread to post the URL. I posted in that thread myself, but it is still a search to find it.

Looking at the blog, I wouldn't say there's a problem with it. Sometimes threads just die. Haiku isn't a major topic for most people here.
