Getting worse, now it asks Are you sure you want to leave this page? Then erases the entire post. Very frustrating.
 
That happens just about every time that I post a photo or video. I just hit leave the page and then it loads when I exit. It is exasperating to deal with because it happens so frequently.
 
Very annoying.

When it does that, I click Stay On This Page and then copy my post. Then I will refresh and the same box will come up. This time I click Leave This Page and it will refresh and more times than not my post will have gone through.

If you initially click Leave This Page it will take you to an editor and if you use that and click post it will double post.

That's been my experience lately.
 
I click "leave the page". Then I refresh the page and usually find my post. If I click 'stay on page" usually I will find a double post.
 
I've lost track of the number of times tonight I have hit the reply button, only to have a "data base error" come up :mad:
Actually it has been going on for awhile now... It really takes the fun out of hanging out here
 
I've been getting this the past couple of months also, almost every time I post :(

This is exactly what happens with the "double post" issues. You seem to have a workaround that is effective though, I do the same thing. :)
