Posts to threads after thread lock?

Spark, I noticed that a registered user (the thread starter) was able to post to a locked thread, post timestamp showing to be later than the lockdown timestamp as seen in Moderator Actions. Golds & up could do that on vBulletin, but not RU's. Just thought you should know.

I was able to post in my own thread this evening, after I'd locked it - wondering if it's a quirk of the new system, whereby the OP can post in his own thread despite it being closed to others.

Edited to add - I did not reopen the thread before posting

Interesting. I just had a Gold member who couldn't take a hint and continued to post in a locked thread. I hope all OP's can't do this.
