How long did it take to come up a boil?
I wondered if having the two large openings might have affected the 'draw' of the flame a little?

Hi, and Thanks for your kind comments.

The firestarter is homemade, I made it using cardboard inbued whit wax, is very effective, also when wet.

To boil the water it took 10 minutes, more or less. The hobo stove is far more efficent that a camp fire, the flame is "concentrated" and you need a very small amount of woods :-)

The two large openings are mandatories, to charge the stove whit more woods step by step, I'm not able to do a hobo stove whitout them unfortunately :-(
