Hey y'all does anyone know where I can pick some up in the Austin tx area? I've found it online but don't have a credit card anymore so I can't order it. And none of the local pharmacys have it or can even order it anymore. Thanks for any advice

you can get things called (insert name of credit card company) gift cards. american express and visa both make them. a 200 dollar one will have something like a 7 dollar fee, but it has worked everywhere I have tried it yet except at usaknifemaker.com.(also aldo doesn't take the american express ones, or american express in general.) you can pick them up almost anywhere. try fred meyer and walmart.

Apparently it's commonly used in water treatment.

Try people that service water softeners and swimming pools

Some people say you can even get it in Sears

I would think twice about using that on Maple -- I don't know about other woods. About 40 years ago the muzzle loading gun builders were using it on gun stocks -- only trouble was is that after a few years of shooting or carrying them in the sun the beautiful brown turned to green. I had a h-ll of a time sanding and refinishing with leather stain but that was 30 years ago and my flint rifle still looks fine.

Hey Sterling an idea for this search and others. I quit using my credit cards online. Kept having my id stolen and I'd be buying things in Denmark and London at the same time. So at the suggestion of the bank I got old fashioned. I do all my shopping online but then I call up the supplier tell em what I want and that I would like to pay by check. They figure out the total including shipping and give me an invoice number to reference. I then send em a check (some places prefer a money order so as not to delay shipment) and they send ya your stuff. I do this all the time now and havn't been to two different places at the same time since. It takes about a week or 10 days longer than ordering with a card but it works. Yeah Sears has your stuff.
