Potentially asinine query about a bob loveless knife

I have no idea if this has been brought up before. I searched on the forum but didn't find anything. This is an Excerpt from The Wikipedia article on Bob Loveless:

"Loveless made knives for use by US Army Special Forces and the CIA. One such knife was the size and shape of a pocket comb and fit inside a passport case. When the case was thrown, the blade cut through the case and sliced into whatever it hit."

Firstly, are there any pictures of this? Secondly, any more info on this? Googeling "loveless passport knife" doesn't yield much results.

I've heard of thumb knives and other small knives meant to be easily concealed. This just sounds so far fetched, though...it doesn't seem like Loveless'a forte, and really it sounds so impractical. The CIA and special forces were carrying hidden comb knives meant to cut through their case on impact and actually cause damage? It would have to be reasonably heavy to cause any damage, so making a case that would both be safe to use/conceal, AND cut away on impact...I'd love to hear from someone well versed on Loveless's work.

Found this at KF, quoted from an old Sports Illustrated article, according to the person who posted it:

"Loveless is visited at times by the CIA's technical division spooks who whisper odd and deadly requests. He takes such assignments if they are "interesting." He won't talk about any current work he may be doing for the agency, but he fondly remembers making a blade the size and shape of a pocket comb that fit into a CIA-issued passport case. When the case was thrown, the razor-sharp and specially weighted blade cut the case and sliced into whatever it hit. "Real James Bond crap," mutters Loveless."

Fascinating.
What a find one of those would be!

I know of an Al Mar comb knife (there are always a few on ebay) that sounds very similar to the description. Unsure of any connection other than that, just thought I would mention it.
