Ok, so I fnally got around to adding a pouch to the mashed kydex pants for my SAR Warden.

The kydex had been left a bit wide to accomodate a pouch, whch was sewn out of doubled cordua.
I do so HATE to sew :o ...

Put on a fastex buckle closure for the pouch.

Then drilled out the old rivets, marked and punched holes, and re-riveted it back together.

Shot of the back shows the 'drain hole' molded from the knife point out the bottom.

Also the fastex straps for attaching to belts, packs, etc.

Hopefully won't fall apart too soon  !!

Good work...what do you keep in the pouch?
Really like to see a SAR warden that's earning its keep!

I have alway liked the way your stuff looks........you can carry just about anything that you'd need in there. :D

Does my heart good to see a well used piece of INFI, and a really nice working set of pants and pouch. :)

A special request Tactical Pink sheath for a gal on our SAR team:

River 8,
Heh. It took me a while to re-find this thread. I just wanted to say thanks for the sheath!
I've got a few more pics to add:

Here it is sitting pretty on my workbench.

This is all the stuff I carry in it. I'm going to swap in a different whistle. And I'm going to add some more 550 and a small compass.

Here it is with everything stuffed in the pouch. As you can see, there is still plenty of room for more stuff.

The only complaint I have is some slight wear in the coating on the tip of my CGFBM from the sheath. You can just almost make it out under all the dirt, tree sap, loose gravel, and scratches. :D :D :D :p

Thanks again!

So anyway...

Added a pouch to an Okuden sheath (VERY well made!) for a Forumite's NMSFNO:

Another one finished.

Pretty 'standard' sheath for a Swamp Rat Chopweiler...

As this is for an Army Reserve SF Captain, I added an eylet for 550 cord to secure the blade for Jumping (parachute).
When not in use, it could be removed, tucked behind the sheath or into the pouch.

Nicely done, keep up the good work! BTW I sent you a PM about those pouches.

Great looking sheaths 8, I just wish I could decide which knife I need to send to you first...

Another one done for a SAR type's Chopweiler:

He requested a side-release buckle (instead of the standard ladder buckle) on the leg strap,
and a larger set of buckles on the belt strap...
