Pouch and Pocket Clip

I never take my pocket clip off my knife when I put it in the slip sheath or the belt pouch.

I leave the clip on for two reasons:
  1. I clip carry, as well as pouch carry.
  2. The clip makes for just another shape for which the leather to conform, making for a more secure fit once the pouch is "broken in".

I always left my clip on when I carried my Sebenza in the pouch as well.

Agree 100%...I like the overall look of it, just make sure you put it back in the same way each time.

I've taken the clip off, more comfortable for me/less damaging on my office clothes.
But I may put it back on after seeing the responses here.

I've removed all pocket clips on my 7 Sebenza's & 2 Umnumzaan's, Also my Ivory & Damascus Mnandi. I use CRK belt pouch or CRK pocket pouch. No more fighting pocket clips for me. The knife feels so much better in your hand with out that pocket clip & for me it is way more secure in my hand.
And thats my 2 cents............................
I did leave the clip on my Bocote Mnandi because I carry it in my shirt pocket like a pen. I've installed CRK clip inserts on all to cover the holes.

if you plan on only carrying the knife in the pouch, then i would remove the clip and put on the little piece that fills the gap.

if you carry it both using the clip and at other times in a pouch, leave it on.

may not be the best idea to regularly remove and replace the clip. the screws are steel, and the scale titanium. it is possible the harder screws could strip the softer ti with an excessive amount of removal/replacement.

I only remove the clip on knives I pocket carry that are uncomfortable. When caried in the pouch, the Sebenza's clip does not dig into my thigh, therefore I leave the clips on.
