Simple, but beautiful work. As a complete leatherworking noob, what thickness material do you use for a pouch sheath this size? I would love to make one of those, but right now the only thing I've got is some 7/8 oz material, which i suspect is thicker than what was used here.

Zog, thats 2.5/3mm thick so you might give it a go. It depends on the leather you have and how well will it wet form. This was made from upper sides. Stretchy enough to form and stiff enough to keep the shape.
