Thanks, WC. The lining is a leather brand/line called Ravello. It is chrome tanned but previous discussions in this section have confirmed its safety for use with blades.
 
Never even peeked at sheaths and such forum. Good grief, this work shown from i4Marc is exquisite. I love hidden tang knives, and this sheath for sure is a gorgeous companion for a fine one. Good on you.
