Hello Forumites!
I try not to advertise my products on the Forums, but some of you were interested in the clip pouch I am having made.
I am pleased to introduce the Kangaroo Pouch. It is a nylon pouch with a plastic clip that allows convenient carry of your clipless knives. It allows easy access both in and out, protects from scratches to your knife from keys and change and prevent the accumulation of pocket lint.
The Kangaroo Pouch is available in 2 sizes to accomodate large and small knives.
For pictures of the pouch and on how to use it, visit my website: http://www.elishewitzknives.com/welcome.htm

Thank you.

Looks cool. Any plans to make one with a metal clip? William Henry's leather pouch with the shiny metal clip is awesome.

Allen- I'm a southpaw with several knives I don't carry much because of the clip being on the "wrong" side. This pouch looks like it might work for them. Thanks.

So what size is suggested for a Spyderco Endura?? A large or small pouch. Anyone know what the large holds and what the small holds?? Thanks!!

This is what I posted at another location, hope it helps:

Hi out there in TKCL Land!

Jerry, here, back from the races and what is one of the first e-mails I get today a fellow lister tells me that Allen Elishewitz has the pouches we were discussing at the last ECCKS.

Many of you out there don't like clips on knives, I personally am not among you, I like clips on some knives. But that doesn't stop me from buying knives without clips. Now comes the rub, how do I carry these beauties and not scratch'em all up at the bottom of my pocket with my keys and change and such? Some kind of cover you say, but then there goes the convenience of quick and easy access! What to do, what to do!

We all said a while back that a sheath with a clip would be the best answer. Well Allen has them! I spoke with Valerie Elishewitz early this afternoon and ordered 2 myself. They come in 2 sizes that match Allen's knives perfectly and of course you can put other kinds of knives in them too.
the small accommodates knives with a 3 1/4" blade length and the larger one is good for a 3 3/4" blade length. they are made from ballistic nylon and have a plastic beeper style clip on it for you stealth aficionado's.

All I can say is here's another fine example of a great knifemaker hearing what the collectors out there want and delivering! Also if you can make it to a show you really owe it to yourself to talk to both Allen and Valerie and check out Allen's knives, the full Damascus job's are sweet! And they are both great people.

Allen,
That's a great idea. A while back, I made a similar sheath to hold my old Sunfish patern folders in. As you know, they are rather heavy and feel better in the pocket when held in a pouch by a clip!!
I made mine out of thin Kydex. I think Nylon would be bettter and less likely to scratch.
Should be a winner!!

Hey Allen, great minds think alike!!

I used to have a few Tatonka pouches around me to carry my various knives. They look similar to the version of pouch you designed for belt and webbing carry. The old models had metal clips, but the current model looks really similar with the plastic clip. They also come in 3 sizes, with the medium size a pretty good fit for my SAK Adventurer. In fact, I modified one of them by cutting off the flap, which resulted in a design similar to your Kangaroo Pouch. I can't remember why I stopped using it and tried to get a clip to put on my SAK. Hmmm.... I'll have to dig it out and start using it again, now that you've reminded me of it.

Sounds like the small pouch will hold my broken clip Endura just fine. Any ideas on how the kangaroo pouch will work in the waistband?? Just wondering.
