What will you carry in the sheath pouch of your new E-Model Busse?
I will be using my Busse for backpacking, so I will put a Swiss Army Knife or Multi-Tool in mine. Or a Pistol, how big are those pouches anyway.

I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

I will definately carry a small ceramic stick, a multi tool and maybe squeeze a few matches and some bit of string.

I dont think those pouches will be big enough for a pistol

there will be a small sebenza in mine

I would imagine the pouch would be sufficient to contain a "mini kit" of survival items such as: magnesium fire starter, steel wool, iodine crystals/polar pure, snare wire and or parachute cord, leather stitching needle, smooth sharpening steel/ceramic rod, space blanket or sleeping bag...or similar items suited to your climate and terrain. I'd carry my SAK in my pocket.

Then again, it is Busse Combat; it might be large enough for an atv, chainsaw, rifle, ammo, tent...or similar items suited to your climate and terrain.

The series of tie down grommets on my Battle Mistress' kydex sheath facillitates the attachment of a small pouch as well. This was brought to my attention by Mr. Busse during a phone conversation when I had asked if he had considered building a hollow handled knife. If memory serves me, he even went so far to extoll the virtues of Chris Reeve knives. This had been the first time I had spoken to a knife maker that readily endorsed another makers product. I've owned both knives now,...needless to say, my Project II was given to my foreman as a Christmas Gift.

Cordially,

Screwtape

Depending on the size of the pouch I would at least think I would be able to put a Leatherman Wave (because it has the diamond file)and an EZ-lap M (mine is now over 33yrs.old and still works great). If there are 2 pouches the other one will probably have a Wet Force Mag. fire starter and a couple of Wetfire starting cubes. The space blanket, para cord, snare wire, and .024" music wire will all go with the pack items or in a fanny pack.

Well, I was thinkin' more along the lines of some serious emergency/survival gear - like a small flask filled with Wild Turkey.
