was asked by a gun shop (powder horn) to see what i could come up with for him and make like 6 knives with different handles and what not.
well this one is the first one i have 2 more on the way but heres the thing the ones for in the shop will be belt finish and non fancy handles.

sounds bad but 700 for the gun 3-400 for the scope and they want a 30$ hunting knife:barf:

the first 3 will be hand rubbed and have nice handles on them cause dam it thats how they should be
this one is stabilized maple burl
the blade is cpm154 at 61Rc gut hook is PITA

Very nice knife and very well thought out design. Looks like a beautiful user!

Damn fine knife Butch!!! What did you use to get the guthook so perfect? Mine never turn out so even.

small wheel on the KMG and luck hhaahahah. really ive done 3 hooks like this now and its not to bad
the hook was finished with a 9 mircron belt but i think i can get it even sharper we will see

That's the first gut hook I like the looks of.....and as usual I like the mycarta.

I got to handle these last night. Not just good looks, they're VERY comfy in the hand. Butch has outdone himself on this design.

In my experience there is not much that Butch puts out that that isn't comfy in hand and well thought out. The knives I've bought from him certainly have been. They are very deceptive. They outperform their looks every time.

that a quote that when i get the page setup for feedback and stories i would like to put up
some times i get odd looks before people put one of my knives in there hand
