This is a fun one. It's the one that all my non-knife enthusiast friends like the best.I bought it second hand, the guy I got it from said he never fired it,well,I stopped on my way home to get ammo(this is a .38,and I didnt have a .38 yet)Anyway, when I was looking at it, it seemed as if I'd shoot the tip right off of it.That wasn't the case at all.In fact it's a pretty decent piece,no kick to speak of,I've only shot it short distances(not gonna hit much at distance).A friend of mine collects guns, and always give me the same old line...'you gonna bring a knife to a gun fight?'.Well,I shut him up when he saw this.

I'm impressed. What an unusual piece. Looks simple and yet well constructed. I like.

Thanks!

It is a well made piece. At first i was a little nervous about firing it,but now i plink with confidence.I've also seen a couple in .22 caliber.Glad you enjoy it.Bruce, might I add that I am an admirer of your work,do you ever make it to any midwest shows?I frequent your website....never anything in the available section though :( . (understandable, considering what I've seen of yours I wouldnt expect anything to sit around long)

Interesting indeed. How big is it? Do you have a pic with it in your hand?

The overall length is 11 inches.blade is about 5 1/4.I will take a few more photos and try and get them posted in the next few days.Posting photos is getting a bit easier for me so I should be able to manage this without too much delay.

Sorry about the bad quality of these shots...but here it is in my hand.On the second picture you can see that the hammer has been cocked,it is ready to fire.

center fire cartridge.
On a side note this has earned the name catdog.Theres a childrens cartoon that has an animal with a cat head on one side and a dog head on the other, when a friend of mine saw it he said it reminded him of catdog...and that stuck. That is not in any way an official name, and has nothing to do with the manufacturer,it's just come to be natural for me to refer to it as catdog now.
I've not found a web-site,nor do I know if the company/person that makes them is still in business.
