Power hammer sold on e-bay

I took a look at it, along with the videos....aside from the fact that the RPM is way too high, and the hammer is terribly out of adjustment, it's a VERY nice 25lber. No broken/brazed parts, and it appears that everything is original.

Check the final price! WAY up there. The issue is that they are certainly not making any more of them, and it's all about supply and demand.....folks will pay whatever it takes, IF they want something bad enough.

When I sold off my LG hammers about 5 years ago, (purchased an air hammer to replace them) they were both in top shape. The 25lb sold for $2,900, and a guy drove all the way from Alaska to Montana to get it. My 50lb hammer went to a gentleman in Washington state, and sold for $3,600.

EVERYTHING Matchlessantiques sells goes for insane money...not quite sure why, but he always has the best stuff.

he definitely gets "over" market, i suspect its because he is a very well established "ebay" seller etc. Ive seen 25 lg's, recently that were in the same or similar condition sell for less than 1/2 of that one. One issue is if you get a few frantic bidders then things go wild. I would bet there is alot of buyers remorse on some of these bidding frenzy sales.

I paid LESS for a 200 lb. Beaudry, with 3 sets of dies, factory reuiild kit (only one known to exist), that is in excellent to "as new" original condition.
