Should I be worried about how far it engages? It seems like there's almost no room for it to wear in without eventually developing play or the "toggle" rising above the liners?

Charlie Mike Charlie Mike How far does yours engage when aggressively opened?

I no longer have mine but that looks perfectly normal.

Thanks Matt, I was kind of expecting the toggle to be parallel with the liners when locked up but this is my first experience with the Power Lock so I thought I'd ask (before any potentially warranty voiding mods;)).

I checked mine last night, it isn’t as noticeable but it is also not parallel with the liners. It is an interesting lock back, it is supposed to have strength comparable to the Triad lock but is much smoother and has less spring tension than any of the large CS folders I have owned

I believe they are offering it in the Chinook and I would be interested in trying it in a smaller folder

Thanks for checking:)

My lock-bar and power-lock are below the liners. Bother are even, not at a tilt. My power-lock side is about a thousandth lower. Visually

I had a question for owners. If I two hand slam open my Tatanka the lock sticks pretty hard. Like metal on metal scraping open.

Anyone else feel that?

Mine does stick a bit when opened aggressively, but not so much that I can't disengage it with one hand still.

Maybe we can get @Sal Glesser to chime in, I believe this lock is his baby :).

I think that's actually a lost cause. Sal has mentioned but not confirmed the Powerlock has been replaced by the Stop Lock. I'm leaning towards weight restraints. The Stop Lock appears to be a skeletonized Powerlock.
