I was fortunate enough to get one of Kashar Lal's friend's villager kagas katnes offered as a deal of the day last December. I gave it to my wife as a Christmas present. My wife has worked in the food business for most of her life including years as a restaurant chef so she knows her way around a knife and, by the way, I eat very well. I figured she would use it as a paring knife; I was wrong. On seeing it she said " This is cool" and put it in her purse. Now I have been married to this woman for thirty years and she has never been an every day carry person. As I said she works in a kitchen where knives are always handy and when she's with me she knows I have a knife available. She even has gotten over being embarrassed if I pull out my Buck or Schrade lockback in a restaurant to deal with something the table knife is incapable of cutting. Now she will take the kagas katne out to show friends because she likes it so much. So thanks to Himalayan Imports another person carries a useful tool and a piece of craftsmanship.

Cool Arbytwo! They do make great steak knives! Mine has seen several racks of pork ribs, ribeyes, pork chops..etc. Im always afraid ill accidentally leave it behind but so far i havent! We need a few pics. KLFVKK is below my Big Christmas Kag.

Great lil knife! Especially cause my wife hasnt taken it yet!....Shhhhhhhhhh!

YAY for another knife carrier. Everyone should have a tasteful blade they can carry for all those little tasks they run into every day. The fact mine is a 10" Vim made KK is just a side note :D

Warm welcome to artbytwo and your lovely wife to HI and blade forum

They really are great back up/daily carry knives. I lashed one to my camping vest. I used it to carve a stick to toast marshmallows:)

been wanting to get one for my 7 year old, i think it would be a good first blade for her..probably not too sharp...
