I just ordered a pwer plier because I think it is probably the best multi out there for any price. i have wanted one for a while, and bieng in the military now is my justification for buying many knives because "I might need them in the field". Anyway, I just wanted to ak about the sheath and why it is so equipped. I know that leather sheaths are A) politically correct and B) rather traditional for multi-tools, but seeing as SOGs are generallay "hard use" type knives, why supply a sheath that is going to rot and/or fall apart when exposed to moisture for a long time? I would personally love to see a company make a kydex belt sheath for their mulit-tools.

Just my opinion.

Hey Stiletto,

A Kydex sheath is always available through a number of outstanding custom sheath makers. Sheath replacement (for either SOG's standard nylon or leather) can always be had from us. For hard-use people, every year or two is not uncommon.
