PowerFeed for mill

Hello Ya'll. This short video shows a powerfeed I built for the Grizzly G0619 milling machine. It uses an Arduino microcontroller as brains to drive the LCD and a NEAM 24 Stepper motor. It runs from zero to 160 RPM with a feedrate of 0.5 IPM to 16.0 IPM. I noted the IPS text on the display, I'll upload code to correct to IPM in a few days.
 
That's pretty cool. When I bought my used G0704 it had a home built power feed made from a 12v drill motor with a speed control, a high speed override and reverse. Looked like heck but worked.
 
That's pretty great! I'd love to do the same, but I think it's past my skill level.
