Powerlock discontinued?

I read this post on another forum where someone mentioned the powerlock is discontinued and is being replaced by something else. Is that true? If this is a rumor I hate spreading it by posting it, but I wanted to know the facts.

Just a rumor. They PowerLock is alive and kicking.

Although not a PowerLock, I carried my PowerPlier the last five years of my military career before retiring. I now use it at my current job as a product development scientist (food scientist) at a major food company. It gets used every day. I don't have to depend on it with the same degree of urgency now that I did as an Army officer, but it never fails to get the job done.

Any idea where in Houston, Texas the Powerlock model 60 in black can be found? I've searched high and low - no luck...
