Hey guys, I just re bought this knife and received it yesterday. Any way the first time I bought it it was used so not all the original packaging was there. Any way I bought this off fleabay, and I have always been kinda wary of doing so due to the fakes page. Any way when I opened it the knife was in the Spyderco box in a small sealed baggy. Havn't seen that before in any of my other Spydercos. Anyone else's come this way?
thanks

I had a PPT at one point but don't remember if it came that way. However, I do remember that all three of my Sages -- which, like the PPT, are made in Spyderco's Taiwan factory -- came in a sealed baggie inside the box. So I'm pretty much positive that you don't have anything to worry about.

I've had 2, neither came in a baggie. The only one that did was the Sage1. Buy from people with good feedback and you can rest a little easier.

Yah I bought from one of their top rated sellers. Its an actual store in Illinois had like 100,000 transactions or so. I compared it to pictures studying the g-10 pattern ect. It seems totally legit :D. Anyway great knife love it.

Also, if you are really concerned, one may be able to tell by the spyder logo on the blade. I only have one taiwan spydie (ppt) but the laser etching is different than my seki city or golden spydies. It's somewhat of a checkered pattern. Can anyone with multiple taichung knives confirm that the pattern is unique to the taichung maker?
