Does anybody own one? If so, how do you like it? This months Tactical Knives had a good write up on it, and kinda got me wanting one.

I really like mine in terms of fit, finish, design etc etc. My only complaint is that I have large hands and its a bit cramped when I hold it...

While I was still able to find some imperfections on my Sage, the PPT I have is absolutely flawless. It's a sturdy knife with thick locking liner, or you can say it is a frame-lock with scales. This knife is a must have.

Love my PPT. Here's my nutshell review from another thread: "I really like the PPT. It's a non-gentlemanly knife with a gentlemanly pocket clip allowing for DEEP concealment in business clothing. Looks like I have a pen in my pocket. It carries deeper than even the wire clip models like the Caly 3. I also like the textured scales. Action is smooth as silk and flicks open easily."

You can see photos on that same thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...e-amp-Perrin-PPT-join-the-ranks?highlight=ppt

I really like the PPT. Probably my only complaint is the weight, but it doesn't feel heavy in the pocket, just when you handle it. That being said, for me, it has great ergos, blade shape, & the low-rider clip is a big plus. The corrugated scales helps with grip & it's basically a frame-lock. It's an excellent, solid folder.

I love mine it is now my favorite EDC. I showed it to a cook friend of mine at a pot luck, and he sliced and diced his way through diner prep with it just for fun. he loved the ergos too.

I've been unable to put mine down since I got it a week ago. I love my Sage, but this PPT is a beast of a carry knife. Its heavy, and if that bothers you, then its probably not the knife for you. But I don't mind the weight at all and the deep pocket-clip makes for a nice secure carry that disappears in the pocket.

Just got one yesterday and it's amazing !!! You won't be disappointed :D

I do have one question about this knife. Is the pocket clip fixed in place with a single screw, or does it have two? How is the clip's stability? Does it have an indention that the clip fits into?

Well, I guess I have three questions. Any help is appreciated.

It has one screw and it sits in an indent , it's a very strong and nice clip! I really like the fact that it's different than every other spydie clip ! The whole knife is different for a spyderco !!!

Thanks softrockrenegrade. I will shorten the clip once I get it, probably to 1 or 1.5 inches in total length. I've done this with all my other edc's and since they all have deep carry clips, it really does help to make them unnoticable in my pocket. At least this Spyderco comes with a deep carry clip and all I have to do is shorten it.
