This class is filling very quickly. I just wanted to make sure that the suspects have an opportunity to attend. If you want to attend this seminar on Oct. 27-28 in Chino, CA. with the following instructors-Ernie Emerson, the Strider Guys, Steve Tarani, Marc "crafty dog" Denny, and Bram Frank, here is what you need to do-

This is not a "knife fighting" course. It is a seminar designed to have some of the finest instructors around teach on practical uses of edged weapons, unarmed defense and response to blade attacks, design and proper selection of edged weapons, deployment of your knife, etc. A majority of attendees will be law enforcement officers, but it is open to non L/E people as well. I just want to make sure that my fellow forumites don't get left out-thanks- nyeti
 
Is there anyone else that just can't wait for this seminar or is it just me ?

Anyone from here that's going (and I hope it's most of you) will recognise me. I'll be the one trying to work out how many new knives I can buy and take back without customs having serious heart problems when they scan my baggage !

I hope my payment comes in time. I got sorta got stuck on the road and tried to send it this weekend. Unfortunately I arrived at the post office too late to send it priority on Saturay so I just dropped it off the at the regular drop off box.

Let me know, if you can find out, if the payment comes in time so that I can get squeezed in there.

There is still room. The seminar is about half full, but it is filling quick. I will post an announcement when it is full, so until then, have at it. Ross, I have you penciled in, and I'll move you to the inked in file when the check arrives. No worries, at this point there is still room, and no glitches at all.-nyeti.

Hi Nyeti

I was wondering if there was any update on the Seminar coming up here. Namely, near by hotels, directions and address of were the seminar will take place, closest airport and directions from that airport.

I'd like to start making my reservations and I haven't been in Calif. in a loooooooooooong time so all the info would be appreciated.

Hey Ross-I'll do this in the forum so that everybody gets it.

Airport: Ontario Intl. Airport is very close.
Location: Prado Olympic Shooting Range in Chino CA.
Hotel: There is a new hotel opening right across from the range and I am trying to set up some discount rates-I'll find out by the weekend and let you guys know.

Thanks for all the interest, its gonna be fun.
