Here is a camp knife I made to test my heat treatment. I tested it by chopping through 6 2x4s and some 1/8" brass rod, and the edge came through without damage and still sharp. It has a very coarse finish because I didn't want to put a lot of time into a knife I might destroy.
Blade: 1095
Length: 17" overall, blade= 11.5"
Handle: rosewood

For a "practice" blade, it looks pretty good! Sounds like it performed pretty well... Any other tests planned?

Looks like you'll be able to move it from a practice blade to a finished product if it continues to hold up!

If that's your practice, I see good usable knives in the future. Keep going
