practice, practice, practice

Ummmmm....what state was that done in? I didn't know you were going to be in Oregon this early for Blade.

Cool, how's the weather up there?

;)

That looks like the 10th Street range. And yes, it would be rather close to Ban's shop. It is about two miles from Adobe, on the other side of Highway 280.

on that 2nd clip, did he have a weapons malfunction? if so what was the pistol make and model, just curious.

I am pretty sure Tiny was shooting a SIG 226. Malfunction was caused by user error. He was too gentle and did not slam the magazine home during the tac reload. Hence the mag was only partially engaged and the slide went forward without picking up a new round. 2nd mistake was that he did not do a tap, rack, roll when he tried to clear the malfunction. He only racked the slide again without picking up a new round :p Having said that... Tiny shot really well for his first outing there. Most of us were shooting slow during that stage because we had take head shots on the BGs with hostages.

I think Hogwash shot a ear off a hostage that evening :D

10th Street??? You freaking kidding me? They must have a new Range Master cause the first and last time I was there the old fat fart running the show was such a freaking jerk we never went back!:thumbdn:

Good to see they're still open and running a good show. Wasn't aware that they did events such as this. Is it something you have to sign up for?

All of the Range Officers there are part of the Santa Clara Rifle Club. They are all volunteers from the club and you may run into different ROs every public hour days of the week.

Did the RO happen to have a beard?

The action pistol shoots are held every 1st and 3rd saturday of the month if you are interested in checking it out. Just make sure you have a holster that covers the trigger guard of the firearm.

I just started shooting again with gimmejr, hogwash, and tiny as of last month. Hopefully, I can find the time to do it regularly to brush up on those highly perishable shooting skills.
