I'd like to tell you about my favorite cleaning tool for folders because I think it's awesome: the Giotto Rocket. You squeeze the bulb and it releases a blast of air almost as strong as a gas duster; I'm not exaggerating. It's perfect for routine folder cleaning. I originally bought it to clean the sensor in my digital camera, but it has since switched primary roles to being a knife-cleaning tool (and btw has never been used to clean my camera sensor, lol). My cleaning routine is simple. 1) Use a toothpick or q-tip to clean the pivots, inner scales, tang, etc. 2) Blast all the debris and dust out with the Giotto Rocket. Here's what it looks like:

Great idea. Looking online just now, I see a large, a medium, and a small size offered, with the large having the lowest price---go figure.

I'm guessing the large would be best as it would produce the most powerful blast?

Hey guys. I've got the large. I haven't tried the other sizes, but I don't think I'd go smaller than that. So yeah, go with the large. It'll be the best $8 you ever spent in your life.
