Pray for Audra & Mike Draper.....

For those who didn't know, Audra Draper is in the hospital. She had some surgery a while back that didn't go too well, and today she had additional surgery. I just got off the phone with Mike Draper a little while ago, and he relayed the following....
Audra had surgery today to repair a hole in her bladder. The surgery was only suppose to take an hour or so, but once the surgeons got in there, they found some other problems that had to be fixed. The surgery wound up taking about 6 hours to complete. Audra is doing OK, but in some pain. The Doctors say she will likely be in the hospital for the next 5 days or so, and then will be off her feet for the next 4-6 weeks. I've been keeping everyone posted over on my forum at the CKD, but thought there might be some on BF who might not have gotten the news. Keep the Drapers in your prayers.

I met Audra at a show a few years ago and even though I wasn't a customer she was very kind and spent a few minutes discussing forging with me. I pray that she has a speedy and complete recovery.

I'd heard this, too, from Mike... I was sooooo looking forward to visiting with them at the OKCA show this year... especially since I met them there for the first time last year there.
They both know where my prayers are, but I want to thank Ed for bringing this to everybody's attention...
They are both wonderful people, and so full of talent! Unfortunately, Audra has had a minor rash of bad juju these past few months... but unlike most of us, she keeps on smiling and dealing with things!

I wish Audra a speedy and complete recovery! And I wish Mike the patience and strength to be able to take care of their whole clan until Audra gets better - Lord knows that he's bearing a healthy load while Audra's down!

And to everyone else - I wish someone as good as these people crosses your path at least once in your life - they add so immeasurably to life's experiences!
