Prayers and a question...

I am trying to figure somethings out for myself regarding my growth in life and I have a lot of questions that I am trying to answer. I have some decisions that must be made and I feel that I need to make them now, if they are going to be made at all.

Wierd as it may be I am finding the Catoosa Convention of a few years ago to be a changing point for me. A cornerstone if you will...

What exactly was the date of that convention?

I have never done this before, but it seems to have worked for others and I think it will be of great comfort to ask.

I would like to ask for your prayers.
I just need some answers...

Thank you.

ps. As personal as the matter is maybe I can better explain at a later date.

Dave:

I wasn't there so I can't say offhand. Some others were, and may remember. If not, we will search and find out.

As far as the Catoosa Convention being a turning point, I may somehow understand. I think it has to do with some very decent people being at the conventions who accept you as one of them despite your own reservations about yourself. I've hit both the Reno ones, and that sense of fellowship - even brotherhood can truly change your image and expectations of yourself. Maybe ( most likely ) I'm way off.

I will light some incense for you, and send prayers for answers to your dilemmas.

I hope you find those answers. I have found that in some ways I can live more happily by "simply" ( <- what a joke ) doing the next right thing, and trusting that eventually I will understand.

In the meantime, I've often said that I rarely pray, but I certainly spent a great deal of time "talking back" to whomever occupies the Deity's office.

I'm not familiar with the Catoosa Convention but I understand introspection.
I remember have to answer ordinary question differently than I had before.
You'll be in my thoughts.

My prayers added Dave, and with it this grain of "salt"; In matters of the heart the last person we ask is the one we should have listened to in the first place. We avoid that person because we fear what they know, they know the truth because they are us. Often our quest for answers is nothing more than an attempt to confirm or deny what in truth we already know. Believe or disbelieve as you like, you can't hide a blanket under a pebble, but a pebble under a blanket can cause you many sleepless nights.

Let me know when you figure living out, will you? I find it very confusing, especially the rest of the species. Mostly, I'M all right.

Sarge has given it to you pretty straight. If you Think about your questions a bit you probably know what the answers to your questions are.

I will pray with you and for you but all else is up to you and your maker. All I can do is ask him to help you make the right decisions. :)

Just as a general explanation, Catoosa is the nation's furthest inland seaport, and is on the edge of Tulsa. According to the mailman, Yvsa lives in Tulsa. Others say he's in Catoosa. Anyway, I believe they held the second Khonvention at Yvsa'a place.

Hi Dave, I was there and I remember meeting you and I believe you drove out with Rule! It was on 9/23/2001. I drove from Colorado and it was a fun day and I hope there will be more of them in our future! I think there will be more! I'll put you in my thoughts and I hope you are ok and well. Till the next "Catoosa" take care!;)
