It's been mentioned many times here how the feeling of family comes through time after time. I know I will leave out/forget many more then I mention but as of late many here have faced and are facing tough and trying times.

Ed, Peter and Duncan to name just a few. Lately Jason "bakerg2g" and I have been conversing thru PM's. We got on the topic of Jason's health and the immense struggles he has faced and yet faces now and in the future.

I don't know all the details but what I do know through our conversations is a HEART that's not doing what needs to be done. I also know Jason has had to sell his business due to his heart condition, take countless pills and now faces a HEART transplant.

I was taken aback because I knew nothing of this. I asked Jason if it was okay for me to start this thread. Jason in his humble way either didn't mention his trial and tribulations and felt awkward about even making his condition known.

We all or maybe I should say MANY of us here are Religious or Spiritual at our core. So I ask for Prayers, Well Wishes or Smoke be sent Jason's way.

I truly believe in the power of prayer and have prayed for Jason tonight and will continue to do so.

Jason, your the best man---your posts are always positive, your knowledge and insight always appreciated and the great knives you post pictures of are always enjoyable to behold.

We have all become in a way like family here, that's my take on it anyways. And when one of us needs a helping hand, a kind word, a pat on the back or morale support there is no better place then the people on this forum and Jason is what this forum is about.

Enough rambling from me---PRAYERS for you Jason---please get well and keep us informed because we all want to know how your doing!!!

God Bless

Paul

I believe in the power of the like-minded, I've been on the receiving end of your smoke and prayers many times, smoke and prayers going out from NEPA for him and his, please keep us updated.

Jason is a great guy, I have purchased a couple of his knives and I always enjoy seeing the pictures of his knives that he posts, I will certainly send some prayers for him.

Paul, can I say that I think you are a absolute Legend mate, a caring darn great guy, I need to get over and buy you a beer, our world needs more people like you my friend.

I too have heard this from Jason, and what a scary thing to face, I too need a major heart operation coming up, and my situation I faced has not helped me face this upcoming one.
I know only too well the reflections on ones own mortality one faces while going through this, and Jasons facing a hurdle, but can I direct this to you Jason.... Today, as you know when going to see your Cardiologist, and learning of what is available these days, your chances are so so much greater than say even 15 years ago, technology is absolutely astounding, what was major surgery yesteryears is almost day surgery now.
Your support from Family, and especially your wife will be what gets you through, that and positive thinking is a massive invisible energy that is more than powerful.
All our thoughts to you Jason.
Our Traditional family here has no room for loss for one of us, only gains.

I don't personally know Jason, but if he is a member of this family, then nothing else needs to be said. You are now on the Hallum's prayer list Jason. Our prayer is for a speedy and complete recovery. "Where two or more are gathered in My name..." I believe there are at least two or more gathered here praying for you. Waiting on a good report!

Blessings,

Omar
