My Mom has been having a real tough time lately...and that's an understatement.
Last year in June she's diagnosed with colon cancer. She got thu surgery and recovered just in time for her husband to get pancreatic cancer. He passed in october.
Mom is then diagnosed with a rare cancer. Plasmablastic lymphoma...I think.
She started chemo. She had a reaction to a part of the chemo drug...that destroyed half of her lung capacity. She's now on o-2.
She did some radiation on some spots and it looked like it was helping a good deal. Due to old injuries, arthiritis and scoliosis she can't get up on the x-ray table.
Back to chemo but a different set of drugs.
Today my brother had to have her hospitalized due to an bladder infection...I just got back from the hospital.
While Mom has been getting good care due to myself, my brother and his ex-wife we are just getting burned out.
All of us need a little help...but Mom needs it most of all. Thu all of this she's tried to mantain a positive attitude.
If you could keep "Perky" in your thoughts and prayers it would be appreciated.
