Hello folks, I just wanted to ask for prayers for my 3 year old son Noah who's going to have surgery Monday morning (Mar. 7th).
He was diagnosed with a very mild case of Crouzon's syndrome ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crouzon_syndrome ) about a year and a half ago and his doctors and surgeons have decided it's finally time to make sure his brain has enough room to continue growing.
He'll have a Frontal vault cranioplasty and upper orbital reconstruction from what I understand. As you can imagine this is a major surgery lasting approximately 6-10 hours and involving one neurosurgeon and one plastic surgeon.
His eyes will probably be swollen shut for a few days after. Once the swelling goes down he should be free to come home later in the week.
Noah is my favorite person in the whole world. If you would, please pray for him, his surgeons, anesthesiologist, and the rest of the medical team as well as his grandparents.
Thank you.
