My son goes off to MEPS tomorrow to be shipped out for his basic training at Ft. Knox. He is in the Illinois Army National Guard and with the way the military (the current establishment that is) runs I suspect he will end up in the sandbox or some other hotspot in a couple of years after he ends his schooling. After his basic training he will be attending AIT in South Carolina. Please keep him in your prayers during this time and the times to come as well as all of our young men and women in the armed forces. Thank you.........
