I was shocked and horrified to here of todays devastation  ,My prayers and thoughts go out to all that live in these areas.
I hope that our own EBBTIDE and A BORIQUA are not having a hard time.I am sorry that I don't know everybody from the forums here that is from these areas, but my prayers go out to them also.
Looks like it is time for the U.S.A. to do some major ASS KICKING!!!!
We need to send all those guys and gals that are in uniform out there trying to protect our country and resue those hurt in this horrible act our prayers also....
I for one would like to send all my unused cans of WOOP ASS to those that are protecting us:mad:
If there is anything that I can do for anyone in these areas please let me know,I will try to do anything possiable to help out anyone ..

My thoughts and prayers are going out too. Its still hard to believe this happened. Every last part of it is horrendous. So many innocent people lost their lives. We can only hope that those who don't survive died quickly without suffering. You can't even begin to try and imagine how horrible the last few hours were for the people on the planes being hijacked.
I appluad the brave people who are repeatedly putting their own lives at stake to go in and save people from the rubble.
God forbid anything more happen. And hopefully we will be able to resolve this and deal with the people responsible without going to war.
Afganhistan has given osama bin laden sanctuary too many times. Their government has already sent out a statement saying that he is not involved. There's no way we can leave it at that. The things that happened in the past should never have happened. Something on this scale can not be ignored.

I've been watching all day and it keeps getting worse. So many wasted lives, so many children who don't have a mom or dad anymore. I tried e-mailing Boriqua, it bounced back, hope all is well. I'll keep praying.

Richard,Do you have Boriqua's web site address,I lost it when my computer crashed, and I havent seen him posting or heard from him.I do know that he has ben selling some of his collection on ebay.I would also like to check with him.

I have recieved word back from ebbtide and his familly and himself are OK just shook up some...

Bruce - Are you serious? $5.00 a gallon?

I'm still at work. I'll check prices when I leave for home.

I have not been out so cannot comment on local gas prices. However Bruce the gas prices in your area are nothing more than greed on the part of individuals or the oil companies! We should not tolerate this anymore than we will tolerate an act of war upon our nation. The attacks upon New York and Washington DC is an act of war -- not to be confused with a terrorist act. This great nation of ours should consider itself to be at war with any individual or country involved in this matter. Join me in prayers for the victims of this act.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

I agree with all that has posted, we need to all stop a PRAY for the living and the dead, this is a tragic time for the U.S. but its also time for us to all UNITE and not to run scared. Thats what the terrorist want, I was out for a while this morning and gas was 1.59, this evening I went back out and its over 4.00 a gal. and people are backed up in long lines, people this is what they want , to spread reek, havoc and fear.
We need to STAND TOGETHER, STAY STRONG AND TELL THE TERRORISTS TO KISS OUR ASS and GO F**&^ THEIR SELVES.

Like Plain Ol Bill Said

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Bill

I would like to think that one day the world will be at peace and remain so, with much sadness, I'm not sure if it will ever be that way.

There is horror in my heart at these acts of terroism. The insane actions of a few, only cause pain for the innocent. Acts of terroism are not heroic but actions of cowardice and insanity.

As someone who witnessed 16 months of terroism in Vietnam, I believe this is all true.

Let us all pray for the innocent souls and reflect in a moment of silence before we continue.

For those who have commited these acts of cowardice, you truly do not understand the will and power of the American people. You will not prevail!

Yes I was serious about the gas prices. But luckly the local government stepped in and anounced that they would prosecute anyone found price gouging so Tomorrow I will know if the gas prices stopped. You couldn't get into a gas station this afternoon,as the lines were clear out in the road and it was taking a good half hour or better to get gas.
I still pray for all the people that are working and those that are waiting to here about loved ones.and my simpathy goes to the families that have lost loved ones.

Sorry about the copy and paste...
A brief update here from NYC...And thanx for your concern...

Well, we made it thru the day. My daughter goes to HS in midtown manhattan, so we had some anxious moments untill she called. There were no trains or cars or cabs going into the city so I walked over the 59st bridge. I don't know if you've ever been in NYC, but the bridge is 4 lanes in each direction...all of it was full of people leaving the city! Some had that spookey 1,000 yard stare and others were oblivious...So they released my daughter and 2 classmates to me and we walked back over the bridge and it was still full of people, as far as you could see...I tell you I was worried up there thinking the bridges would be next.
It is so strange, we used to be able to just see the top of the trade center from the bedroom windows, now it's gone. It is very hard to fathom. F-18's flyin around...we never see that here...We are really thankfull, last week my wife was freelancing (another graphic artist) at Merrill Lynch in the trade center. God smiled on us...

Al I can think, is what would have happened if the good passengers had been armed also. May be they'd have had a chance.

As I sat here in frount of the TV watching todays events unfold time after time I was in shock to think of my forumite friends from these areas. Then I was more incenced wondering about my past customers from these areas. I hope that everyone and there loved ones have escaped the tragity.
Even small town Alberta may be effected by this as a coworker is in the NY area and only 10 days ago told me he wanted to go to the top of the Empire State and the trade towers. I can only hope for the best.

I had to pick up my two kids at school today (one is 6 and the other 9)....the school had not told the children of the events.

My son, Hunter, was really uspet by this heinous act....he is angry and frightened.

He was born in 1992. There were not alot of "Hunter's" at the time and we could never find him a personalized name plate for his bike. Then in 1996 we found him one.....in the gift shop on the observation floor of the World Trade Center.

That really affected him.

It is a case in point of how deep this goes in our country. Thank God we are coming together in solidarity to take action....and we will.

My office is about 10 miles from the Pentagon and yesterday morning we could see the smoke rising from the plane crash. Around here there was no panic, just a lot of concern for people we knew who worked in the Pentagon and deep anger against those who did these deeds. Gas prices in the neighborhood are stable. I think Americans have reacted well.

This isn't over.... America will have a response that may suprise a few people in other parts of the world who think we have gone soft.

I was talking to a knifemaker in Michigan about 7pm their time yesterday, his wife came home and told him that gas had gone up to $8.00 a gal.,it only went up $.08 gal.,here.These people are scabs on society,I just hope that people have a long memory, and refuse to trade at places that took advantage of such unfortunate circumstances.
