Everyone,

I'm sure most of you have at least heard of Robert Thalmann AKA Two Hawks. Well some of you may not know that he's sick. In a recent email he told me that he had a bad relapse of myasthenia gravis, he has some residual permanent damage and lost about 50% in his legs, and 30% in arms. Now he's down to making maybe one 'hawk every couple of months. I know he's made 'hawks for a couple of cantina members and I'd like to call on all of you to help me in what appears to be some much needed smoke and prayer.

He's also looking for one maybe two good craftsmen to take over production under his guidance. So if anyone knows anyone in or around Fort Benton, Montana.......

He goes in for open heart surgury this summer and I feel like he's another one of the good ones that could use a little help. Two Hawks has always been very kind and helpful to the many questions I've had of him even though I've never actually bought anything from him. So if you guys could lend a hand, I'd appreciate it.

Smoke will be sent tonight.

I nominate munk as an apprentice hawk maker. He's in the area, can write evenings, and the heavy labor would be good for the boys...build 'em up proper.

This is a wise man. Too often I've seen people in crafts pass on or retire without choosing someone to take their place. Hope things get better for him soon.

Prayers for my Montanian neighbor Two Hawks.
I don't know him but his spirit is obviously a part of many of us.

Nasty, I wish there was a blacksmith in the area. Well, bladesmith, but if you can forge one you can do the other.

On the list, of course.

Darn list is getting too long for comfort; so many folks need it right now . . .

Really sorry to hear about Two Hawks.:( He is indeed one of the good guys.
Smoke sends Its tendrils into even the tiniest places. The large ones just take more to fill the space. Smoke will be sent later.

Myasthenia gravis is indeed a rough disease; one of my agents had it and was not right for a couple years (light duty, intel work). Having had open heart surgery myself, I understand his jitters....God's richest blessings on him and his family.

Sorry for this news... Will remember Two Hawks with some smoke tonight.

Ad Astra :(
