Many members may know and have used "richardj" for knife sharpening. The man is a craftman at his art, as well as a knife maker. I've always found him to be helpful, informative, friendly, and he has all the time in the world to talk with anyone who need him.

He recently contacted me, and he is currently in the hospital for surgery. I don't want to say what it is, as that is kind of personal. Hwever, I will say it is fairly serious and prayers or thoughts for his well being and health would be appreciated.

Not to sound callous, but there is another smoke and prayers thread going for RJ on this very page, just a few threads down. Maybe the mods can merge these?

Great guy, hope he does well in his healing.
