Prayers needed

Hi everyone, a very close friend of mine and co-worker, and her boyfriend, were involved in a motorcycle accident. He did not make it to the hospital and she is in ICU. On my way right now and would appreciate any smoke or prayers that can be sent her and his family's way.
 
You got it! Will email our pastor to put them on the prayer chain. Very sorry to hear about that. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
 
prayers up!!! As a fellow rider I am saddened to hear of another accident. I pray for the nurses and docs managing her care in ICU
 
Thank you orchunter93. Relatively speaking, she will be okay. Late last night she was moved out of ICU. MRI came back okay today and there is talk that she may be discharged tomorrow. Her body will heal and physically won't have any permanent damage, but her heart and mind will take time. Her and her boyfriend were just a few minutes away from their home too. :(

The viewing for my friend's boyfriend was this evening, while mass and interment are tomorrow morning. He was a hero as he threw her from the bike just before impact.

My friend was not released with her doctor's consent, however she wanted to be released to make the viewing and signed a waiver to do so. She's at home currently resting and hopefully she will not need to revisit the hospital, however she is still suffering from a brain contusion (which I only learned about last night) among everything else.

Keep the rubber side down folks. Prayers for your friends and family. I hope your friend has found peace while heading on to the next leg of his journey. Its always so tough to lose friends early.
