I've been on vacation from my regular job. I got a call today from one of my friends I work with and he told me his cousin who left for Iraq almost two months ago was involved in a roadside bomb attack about 2 weeks ago. His cousin is a medic and was the only surviver. He's on a long road to recovery. Right now he is at a hospital in D.C.

Thanks everyone. I go back to work in a few minutes and I'll relay the message to my co-worker. He is very proud of his cousin.

Update on my friends cousin. He is doing better. The leg and foot they thought would have to amputate is coming along great. He is able to move his foot and toes. He did loose a portion of his thigh from shrapnel, but is doing well. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

I've been doing an awful lot of praying for our troops over there lately, and I'll keep on doing it. Glad to hear he's doing better. :)

I'm glad to see that he's on the road to recovery.
